Hi, I’m Rianne van Gijn, founder of Blackbird.
After spending years in the logistics industry, I noticed a pattern. Time-critical shipments were often handled like standard shipments. Clients were transferred between different people, waiting for approvals and receiving one-size-fits-all solutions. So impersonal, time-consuming and above all inefficient, I thought.
I knew there had to be a better way. That’s why I founded Blackbird.
We built Blackbird around one simple idea: every urgent shipment deserves personal attention. We deliberately keep our approach personal, flexible and responsive. When you contact us, you’ll speak directly to someone who takes ownership of your shipment from start to finish—someone who understands what’s at stake and is committed to finding the fastest and most reliable solution.
We’re not trying to be the biggest logistics provider.
We’re building the boutique agency we always wished existed: combining a global courier network with dedicated, hands-on service for every shipment.
